hwachong concert

Met subin and sharlyn at khatib mrt today, we were planning to go to Esplanade to watch hwachong JC's choir concert. subin was like 15 mins late ! sharlyn claims she's always late, hahaha.

anyway, we met lehlin at amk and met up with hazel at cityhall mrt. the cookies were there too, but we split up for dinner. we ate subway, and there was no place to sit. it was like super unglam can. shan't elabo. ><

okay, the concert was nice. miss lim did a solo, so cool lah. this was the first time i heard her sing a song.

there was also a guest choir from penang, they sounded good even though it was a small choir.

oh, that was also the first time i heard the SATB version for jaakobin pojat, haha, i personally prefer our version. xP

after the concert, don't know who wanted to go toilet. they didn't see and walk into the males toilet. i wasn't planning to go, so i waited outside. then suddenly they all came rushing out, and i realised they went into the wrong one. wah.. how malu... and many people walked past us.

oh, another random thing. they actually change the direction of the escalators ! when we came in, the escalators were both moving up. then we go out that time, they were going down. haha. angeline noticed that.

the mrt home was super crowded. we wanted to take to raffles first, then take back so that we would have an empty train so we can chope the seats. but apparently everyone thought the same thing so we didn't manage to get any seats.

was squished all the way until toa payoh where most of the people got out, yeah. (:
