happyb'day gonggong! (:

today was gong gong's bday, was going to kbox first before going to xin xian's hse. so after tuition, mum fetched me to the kbox at hougang mall... justin kor, lun kor, yin ying jie and fidia jie were there. jia yin jie came after awhile. justin kor and lun kor never really sing lo. it was great fun anyway! cousins' outing! whoo. (:

went to hougang mall for awhile then we went to xin xian's hse. quite a few ppl were there already, we went upstairs to play card games and stuff. me and jia yin jie kept talking non-stop la! we realised that we know a lot of the same people. hahaha. and one of them was CHAN YONG RONG. like =0!

then went to cut cake... got 2 cakes, 3 flavours. they are super nice, xiao yi make one. pro-ness la she. got blueberry cheesecake, oreo cheesecake and tiramisu ice cream cake. oooh the tiramisu rocked! yumm yumm... yepp. sang bday song and the little children blew the candles.

went back upstairs for awhile before going down for dinner. every year it's the same thing, a restaurant will like drive the van over and they will cook outside the house... then we eat. they set up the tents and the tables.. it's super ex la, i think it's like $400 per table and we had around 8 tables. sat beside jia yin jie and we talk talk talk again. whoo.

erm. well, these are the dishes in order... but i didn't take all as my phone ran out of batt halfway. =x longetivity bun. i forgot to take the pic until only two was left, haha. sorry! eh noodle with a lot of stuff in it. =P yum yum! erm this got siew mai, prawns [topped with mayo] [super nice], roast duck, and the two others i dont know what it is. eh my aunt says this is 'buddha jumping over the wall' or something. it's chicken soup with shark fin inside. super nice lo. the chicken so soft and tender...
suckling pig!! very fattening but yummy too. i was scraping off all the fat lo. ABALONE. i like i like! you know the thing below the bowl, is got fire one. then gong gong's table right, i think the fire came out and burned the cloth. someone poured beer over it and it became worse, but at the end managed to put it out with water, hahaha. FISH. yum yum too. SCALLOP! hahaha.

yepp, that's all the pics i've got. but during dinner the power tripped like 6 or 7 times lo. -.-. and i think i put on weight just by eating that meal!! hahaa. have to eat lesser for the next few days!

choir prac during recess tmr! =D

gashaus

this afternoon, met yiling and mrt-ed to bugis. we had to take the 825 bus to the mrt, then there's a closer bus stop at my house la, but that bus stop dont have shelter, so i wanted to walk to the further bus stop to take the bus. then yiling kept saying dont want, later the bus come then we miss it. but then at the end we started walking, then we walked halfway right, she suddenly pointed at a tree in front of us, SCREAMED and ran back. i thought there was something on the tree la, then she was like THE BUS!! so ji dong lo! i started laughing and my stomach so pain i couldn't walk. then we both managed to run back, and waving at the bus for it to stop. the kind bus driver stopped and waited for us. =D

we were going to jerald's band's gig at the Gashaus. we went to bugis junction first and shopped around.. i bought a pencil case from wallet shop! it says " Jesus is love " . yepp, then we came to this shop right. it sold super cute handphone holders, you know those you put on the table and you can cha1 your phone in.. then yiling was like, eh! i think i'm going to buy this for my children next time! the hole can put the baby's feet in, then the baby can walk. SO CUTE! hahaha. she so funny la, sec 1 think of buying things for her CHILDREN. -.-"

met jerald and his band plus his friends at bugis junction. then we went to the place. i was kind of freaked out when we got there. it's a bar, then super dark with music blasting so loudly you can feel the vibrations so strongly! there was smell of smoke everywhere, as many people were smoking. the people all wearing black make up and stuff like that.. tattoos, yada yada.

when we went there the band who was performing was quite gd, the drummer especially! he covered his whole face with black cloth, only revealing his eyes. his arms DAMN muscular la! so cool.

after that then it's another band then jerald's turn. that band was not very good, yiling and i went to grab a bite and were planning to come back when jerald's band was going to perform. we ate at long john silver's then we went back. jerald's band was super good! i show you the difference between the previous band and jerald's band ar.

jerald's band!! look at the crowd! they were all so crazy la, they were like 'moshing'. so coooll. alvin looked super cool with the drums! jerald is the one wearing white jacket. whoo. they played PATD, fall out boy, the red drumsuit apparatus and blink 182's songs. the crowd kept trying to snatch his mike to sing, hahaha. me and yiling were standing at the steps watching. after that practically everyone wanted to shake jerald's hand, so funny. =P jerald sweat like seow! the face all wet.

well anyway i enjoyed it very much, went to ahma hse straight from there. =)

this morning during assembly, the sec 3 classes performed dances/skits to commemorate International Friendship Day. some were quite interesting. (:

then the rest of the day was normal, yada yada. then went for choiiirrrr. hahs we went to the dance studio to sing so that we could get a bigger space. i put in my full attention okay! i didn't really talk. =P ms lim came around at about 5 15. she practiced with us for awhile only... because she say she very tired.

jiayi, jingyi, maria and i are going to CCAB [or smth] tmr for the NDP audition thingo. so nervous-ing la. well, the chances of getting in is almost zilch anyway, it's just going there for the experience. =D ms lim says if we dont get in she chop our heads off. hahah. well, just going to TRY my best.

12 days to syf!! go go goooo!!

JIAYI! bout wht happened in your class, some people just dont know how to appreciate wht you've done la, dont care them! you know you've tried your best and it's too bad for them that they dont appreciate it. (:

DEBBIE! i think i was a little crappy today. dui bu qiiii. i was just pissed because of very insignificant little stuff. i promise i'll be better tmr! and thank you for always being so understanding with my crappy moods. i love you! =D

13days LEFT till`syf

it suddenly dawned on me that there is only 13 more days till syf. 13 more days -> 780 hours -> 46800 mins -> 2808000 seconds. these seconds, they are already slipping past the moment i'm typing this and the moment you're reading this. But, there's no point counting down right... it's the quality of our practice, not the quantity!

blue badge choristers met up today to practice. 16 people came only, but nvm! this really shows who are the ones that are REALLY determined to get the gwh. [yay!] [but i'm not saying that the ppl who didn't come dont have the determination la] The ones that didn't come, i hope it was because you really couldn't. well it's okay, just try your best to come because it is really appreciated! haha, seeing us all come volunteerily is really encouraging! =D

we were all eating in class during PW today, Jordana gave all of us the "Kinder Surprise" chocolate egg thing, with a "happy easter" sticker on top. so sweet right! wanglaoshi didnt scold us though, i guess she couldn't be bothered. hah, she rocks. xD she let me go to the canteen to photocopy my art! hehe. and she let me and debbie go to the com lab even though she knew we were just going there to play. HAHA. we went there to look for dee jiayi and sharlyn bay. wanglaoshi is really nice!whoo. (: OH she let us off early too! it just makes things different if you have a nice form teacherrr.

today is monday, tmr got tingxie, weds got history test. not very packed la huh, and i was thinking, what's the point of looking forward to the weekends and after the weekends, monday will come AGAIN. so now, i'm just happy it's monday and tmr is tuesday and yesterday was sunday. HAH i'm going crazy. (:

last night, sleptover at shannen's hse. i practically moved my whole bed there. brought my bolster, pillow and blanket. just lacking the bed. hahaha. =P we watched "GOAL" [which was boring] and ate alot and alot and alot. pigs, yah i know. then we played cards, made prank calls. finally slept at around 3. hah. that's shannen.

woke up at 10! shannen kept screaming at me to wake up. so we both packed our stuff, ready to make our second trip to macritchie! so our plan for today: cycle to macritchie, have lunch, go amk library, go ntuc, go home bake muffins.

yepp. so.. it was like super super duper duper uber uber HOT. it seems so much more tiring to cycle in the sun lo. we stopped at many shops along the way, mostly pet shops, to look at the dogs. some were really cute, here are some pics:

there's a bull dog right, he doesn't have the back two legs, so poor thing la. i dont think anyone will ever want to buy him.. imagine just lying there all day.

finally reached macritchie, and so we wanted to cycle the 11km lornie trail....

after only a short distance, it started RAINING. we were like superly disappointed and turned back, went to sit at the pavillion to wait for rain to stop, looking at everyone walking with their umbrellas. rain stopped, we went in again. finished it and then we took another path along the perimeter of the tree covered place. it's like wooden, and directly above the water. we kept saying sorry sorry sorry when we passed by ppl as it was quite squeezy and we were not supposed to cycle there in the first place. there was one woman [angmoh], she took off her sunglasses and shaked her head at us, we were pissed so we didnt say sorry. then another guy [also angmoh] when we said sorry, he was like, so polite! hahahah.

see, this shows how close it is to the water. could have dropped off! hahaha. there's a little bench on the path, we sat there for awhile, left my feet, right shannen's.

it was super fun la overall, shannen kept saying she felt like she was riding a horse because of the bumpiness of the ground. -.-" when we were about to leave, saw this guy who brought 4 little puppies. all only 1 and 1/2 month old. super cute! we chatted for awhile, and he told us that he has 4 female dogs and he brings them to the pet shop to mate with a male dog, so when the female dog gives birth, he gives one of the puppies to the pet shop and he sells the rest for $500 each.

after that went to pizza hut at thomson plaza for lunch. realised library was closed so we just decided to go home to bake cookies instead, since shannen got recipe. so we went home and made cookies, were quite chao ta but will edible la huh. okay, here are some pics i took at macritchie:

there's not much time left till syf.. and i really hope that we do well. choir really means a lot to me and we've all worked so hard. i feel that i'm even more bonded with choir than my class. just a few more days. we have to jiayou!! cannot afford to drop now or waste any time. if we all work hard, sure can de!! go go go! i dont want to end up crying when the results are out!! unless it's because super happy la. WE CAN DO IT! haha, we the BOMB. (:

i like cyclingggg. whoo!!

YESTERDAY me and shannen wanted to go to amk market to drink bubble tea, so we cycled there and i got oreo choco, she didnt get anything. =x after that she said she wanted to go bird shop, so we cycled further down, near my sch there. we dilly dallied, shannen checked the price for changing her gear at the bike shop.


the birds at the bird shop, most of them, the feathers are cut so that they cannot fly. [it doesn't hurt, says shopkeer] but i still think that it's very can2 ren3 la! birds are meant to fly, they are not meant to be kept as hamsters or something, letting them run/hop around the floor. )): the birds were ranging from super small to super big. here's the picture of a super big parrot! hahaa. shannen said her mum asked the shopkeeper how much they bought for, and they said $40,000 !! that's like so ex la, dont know true or not. but the life span is like 70 years. shannen kept saying that if she gets it, she'll die before the bird does, tsk tsk.

yepp, then we went to the bird watching place.. quite a number of men [old] were sitting under a shelter, and looking at their birds that they hooked high up. then me and shannen were like, are they trying to trick their birds that they are flying, hahaha.

yepp.. went into this park place, we turn turn turn then came out right, we ended opposite amk library. yepp, so we cycled home from there. here's a picture of the park, prettaye right! (:

TODAY. shannen and i cycled to the bike shop to get her gears fixed, and to tighten some of my screws. [bike screws] and the destination was, MACRITCHIE. hahaha. i've never cycled so far before as there was always no one to go with me and due to the fang bian-ness of driving the car. so, i guess i found it very fun. and got a cheng2 jiu4 gan3 when we reached there! even though shannen led all the way. hahaha. standing by the water and blowing wind [chui feng] is really very shuang lo. wanted to stand there forever.. but we had to leave due to time constraints.

when we reached home, it was almost dark, we went there and back in 2 hours, hahaha. clap clap! feel so happy. and i 100% sure my muscles gonna ache tmr, cos i had to cycle up the slopes using the hardest gear on my bike because there's something wrong and if i change the gears, the whole chain will come out. haii, how am i going to go for morning jog tmr!! i dont want to make-up...

miss the times when it was like that everyday.. [referring to above pic] but times changed, we changed, difficult to see a time like this anymore.
